Our Services
We provide both Registered Care & Supported Living Services to individuals who may have a Learning Disability and or Autism as their primary support need. We work with closely with individuals, their families or carers and their purchasing authorities to design bespoke packages of care and support.
Our aim is to enable all individuals we support to live as independently as possible in a home of their choice.
Registered Care Services
Our residential homes each provide 24 hour support to individuals with learning disabilities and additional complex needs.
The homes are registered with the Care Quality Commission and therefore receive regular monitoring and inspection.
Each home provides a supportive and functional environment to the individuals who live there. Individuals are encouraged to personalise the home and their bedrooms and to take an active part in the life of the home.
Every individual has a person-centred package of support in place which promotes their independence and encourages participation in a variety of educational, leisure and therapeutic activities based on their abilities, interests and needs. Each home has a Registered Manager and a team of staff which receive on-going training and support. Staffing numbers for each home are determined on each Service User’s assessed needs; some individuals receive 1:1 or 2:1 staffing support.
Supported Living Services
Our company prides itself on tailoring environments to meet the needs of the individual’s who live within them.
We believe in providing small, community based services that enable individuals to become a part of their local community and use all of the facilities it has to offer whilst ensuring that the environment is robust enough to provide a safe space for those who can challenge.
We believe that all individuals have the right to live within their own home, no matter how they may challenge at times, therefore we have successfully helped individuals to secure tenancies and live within supported living environments.
The organisation works closely with specialist housing charities to provide the accommodation for the individuals we support. Housing charities are a specialist housing provider whose primary purpose is to source and provide high quality domestic style residential accommodation for people who primarily have, but not exclusively, a learning disability.
Arundel Domiciliary Care Services is registered with the CQC as a domiciliary care agency to provide support to individuals within supported living services. This enables us to provide personal care where required. To view our latest inspection report click here.
Our supported living services are for people living by themselves up to four individuals sharing a house together.
Each service has a Supported Living Manager and a team of staff which receive on-going training and support. Staffing numbers for each service are determined on each individual’s assessed needs; some individuals receive 1:1 or 2:1 staffing support.
